There was a time when the great american dream was embodied in the words of that great country song, Take This Job and Shove It,by David Allan Coe.
Somehow we always admired those who were able to make it on their own and kiss the 9 to 5 life goodbye. During most of my nearly 60 years on this planet the hope of doing just that always seamed to be a real possibility if one had the desire and the drive to go after the dream.
But with the radical changes that have occurred in our republic in the last two years, we now admire those who even have the privilege of a 9 to 5 job.
When I originally conceived this site, I was hoping to give back something of the wisdom gained my many years in business by offering advice to young entrepreneurs. But with the rapid turn of events, I find my self turning in the direction of sounding a grave warning instead. The American dream is dying along with America.
I hope the articles presented here will inspire you to save the dream and to achieve the dream. It isn’t too late yet, “but the times, they are a changing.”
